Fully funded scholarship in Malaysia for postgraduate students Who : Must not exceed 45 years old at the time of application for master's and PhD levels respectively
Deadline : June 30, 2024 The Malaysia International Scholarship program is an initiative by the Malaysian Government to attract brilliant minds from around the world to pursue postgraduate studies in Malaysia.
It is parallel with Malaysia's aspiration to emerge as one of the global centers of academic excellence by attracting, motivating, and retaining talented human capital from abroad.
Areas of study Applicants are welcome to apply for any accredited courses with priorities given to courses under the following areas of study:
Education Arts and Humanities Social Sciences, Journalism and Information Business, Administration, and Law Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics Information and Communication Technologies Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Veterinary Health and Welfare *not including medicine, nursing, and pharmacy Benefits Tuition fees for the whole sponsorship period will be paid directly to the university upon the issuance of an invoice to MOHE by the university. A monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 will be paid to the scholars every semester upon submitting the scholars' progress report to MOHE. Eligibility Requirements Possessing good academic qualifications: Master's applicants: obtaining a GPA of 3.00/2nd Class Upper (Honours) or higher at the bachelor's degree level; PhD applicants: obtaining a GPA of 3.00 / excellent results at the Master's level in courses related to the intended study program Having good proficiency in the English Language: Obtaining an IELTS band 6.0 or higher; or Obtaining a total score of 550 or higher in the TOEFL paper-based test (PBT); or Has obtained a previous degree(s) with English used as the medium of instruction. Submitting a written research proposal* with a minimum of 1,000 words that is relevant to the intended field of studies (*for Master's by Research and PhD applicants only) How to apply The following documents will be required for applying to this opportunity:
