Date of Commencement: January 2025 Job Purpose This is a hands-on position whose duties include assisting with repairing, maintaining, programming, logistics, calibrating and installing theatre equipments to ensure proper theatre operations and physical facilities are in good working order.
Key Responsibilities Theatre Management Theatre fixtures and fittings maintenanceCoordinate any logistic or venue arrangement required by internal and external customersRegularly check email ticket and calendars on any theatre events and action accordinglyMaintain and manage equipment asset inventory listingManage and assist outsourced vendors (theatre related)Assist Facilities Manager to identify and resolve potential health and safety hazardsAssist on any project related to the theatreEnsure high standards of theatre cleanliness are maintainedRequire to standby for internal and external event (including weekend)Require to standby and assist with events out the schoolExperience in handling Midas digital sound systemExperience in handling and programming the Avolites Tiger Touch lighting systemExperience in video recording and basic editingExperience in handling multi projection Facilities Request To carry out facilities maintenance task include
Respond effectively to all queries and complaints receivedMonitor any active tickets, work orders and scheduled plan preventive maintenance (PPM)To raise any relevant purchase requests required for the purchase of theatre related goods or services, in compliance with CPD policies and approval from management Others Support and assist the Facilities Management department task when there is no theatre booking/activitiesAny other tasks that may be assigned by the Manager or school's management from time to time Job Requirements Possess at least Diploma or Certificate in IT, electronic, mechatronic, electrical or equivalent.Minimum 2 years' experience in the related field is required for this positionAbility to work flexible hoursAbility to multi-task and work independently with excellent communication skillsComputer literate skills (Microsoft office, imovie / premiere pro)Good team player and possess excellent problem-solving skillsDemonstrate strong characters of integrity, respect, communication, tolerance and passion.
