Event Management (Marketing & Communications)
You will be working in the most exciting Edutainment Indoor Themepark, located at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. You will drive corporate and offline sales into 1 Utama Next Gen Themepark. Your main responsibility is developing and implementing initiatives to grow corporate and offline business and identifying new opportunities:
Collaborate with School Trip Agents, Travel Agents, Group Visitation.
Organize familiarization visits for potential clients.
Research, identify leads, engage and convert potential clients.
Who must you be?
To successfully fill this role, you will have the right attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
At least 2 years' experience in a sales role; prior involvement in themepark/hospitality is a plus.
Passionate about hospitality and sales.
Goal-driven and hungry for commissions.
A never say die attitude and a refusal to take no for an answer.
A self-starter with a sense of urgency and the ability to work pro-actively.
Enthusiastic, confident, and sociable; excellent communication and people skills; must be comfortable giving memorable sales presentations.
Must be a doer and see ideas through from inception to reality; ability to organize, multi-task, project manage and deliver results under pressure.
A desire to experiment creatively and cost-effectively and the ability to make quick adjustments to changing conditions.
Assist and coordinate all events & functions for the Theme Park.
Responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting, presentation, quotation, negotiation & close sales.
Identify new customer opportunities to grow the business.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Sales or equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Results oriented.
Good interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
Possess own transport and willing to travel.
