Job Description:
Assisting the Head Chef and First Chef in all food preparation and cooking duties for the restaurant's halal Chinese seafood menu
Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation
Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new and innovative menu items
Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient working environment in the kitchen
Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to any kitchen-related requests
Requirements:
At least 2-3 years' experience as a chef in a reputable halal Chinese or seafood restaurant
Strong knowledge and expertise in halal Chinese seafood cuisine preparation and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality and presentation standards
Good communication and customer service skills
Passion for creating delicious, innovative halal Chinese seafood dishes
