Tool Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tool Setter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining stamping machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. They will be responsible for the tool setting and ensuring the efficient performance of machinery.


RESPONSIBILITY Operate a group of stamping machines according to stipulated conditions.Change tools according to schedule. Offset tools - identify correct dimensions, offset number and value to adjust.Follow procedures on takeover and handover shifts – visual check of sample parts, machine/tools condition and housekeeping.Examine the engineering drawing and material specification. Verify the fixture and tooling used. Set up the machine according to the process plan by the Planner.Check the parts produced after settings meet customers' specifications before passing them on to the machine operators to handle the machine.Trouble-shoot and fine-tune machines to operate at optimum conditions. Reset and adjust machines if not stable.Continuously seek to suggest improvements and cycle time management.
