The Trade Marketing Executive will assist in developing and implementing trade marketing strategies to drive sales and market share within the beverages industry. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, insights and supply chain teams to ensure the effective execution of promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about the beverages industry.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable in planning and execution of channel or region-specific activities which include timely and concise briefing of trade programs to sales team.
Monitoring and updating progress of trade activities or programs.
POSM Development – Develop, adapt visuals, and distribution of POSM in trade in accordance with the promotion calendar.
Manage suppliers and inventory related to POSM and merchandises development in accordance with the timeline and within allocated resources.
Compilation of reports on the performance of trade promotions and activities, conduct market research on competitor activities to identify trends and opportunities.
Compilation of total trade activities from Brand and Trade Marketing for monthly internal meetings.
Capture minutes of meeting and follow up closely with key stakeholders.
Support in administrative work where required.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree holder in Business Studies, Marketing or its equivalent with at least 1 year working experiences in FMCG companies in various functions (Sales / Marketing / Trade Marketing / Channel Development). Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Possess strong planning skills, good business acumen, good communication skills, creative, detail-oriented and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Competency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Knowledge on PowerBI / Canva is a plus.
Strong communication proficiency in both English and Malay would be required. Mandarin is a plus.
