To design and deliver the Google - Gamuda AI Digital Academy syllabus to the students, which includes front-end, back-end, AI, and cloud content. This is a coding-focused academy.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the lead trainer to continuously develop and improve the Digital Academy syllabus/programme in tandem with our partners and us.
Structure day-to-day lecture plans assigned by the lead trainer.
Deliver the course content assigned by the lead trainer in an exciting and informative manner so that students can grasp the concepts and learn.
Conduct demonstrations of code writing and app-building sessions assigned by the lead trainer.
Assist in interviewing students to find out if they would be a good fit for their course.
Set office hours so that students can discuss their projects or work with them.
Help and guide students in troubleshooting code and carrying out practical assignments.
Mark and assess student work and provide useful critical feedback.
Organise programme events such as capstone presentations.
Stay current with the latest trends in software development and AI to be a knowledge base for the students.
Participate in recruitment activities to promote the school.
Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
QualificationsDegree in Computer Science/Engineering or its equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience as an instructor/trainer/lecturer in a relevant field.
Good to have skills badges or certifications in Cloud / AI.
Industrial experience in full-stack web development or AI is a plus.
Skills & AbilitiesExpected Minimum Years of ExperienceExperience in teaching minimum 3 years.
Experience in Front-end and Back-end development for a minimum of 3 years.
