Your role as the Training & Quality Manager responsible for supporting all corporate-owned restaurants in Malaysia. You will report directly to the Head of the Company and work closely with the Operations Managers. You will be based at our Seoul Garden Korbi Grill outlet located in MyTown Shopping Mall and required to travel within West and East Malaysia frequently. This role demands a lot of enthusiasm and willingness to put extra effort into separating Seoul Garden brands from competitors. Strong coaching & communication skills, a great team player and passion for developing people are essential for you to perform the role effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Identify culinary training needs, conduct food training, demonstrate cooking techniques and new cooking equipment to the kitchen team.Perform quality control and competency assessment to ensure each individual equipped with necessary knowledge for smooth operations.Work with HR Department to capitalize on training grants and optimize claims on program that Company can tap on.Maintain updated training record and keep training related documents properly for future reference and auditing purposes.Inspect raw products/materials delivered by suppliers to ensure meeting product specifications.Monitor food handling, preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with quality standard, halal requirements and food hygiene & safety regulations. Ensure kitchenware and equipment are in good working condition, identify repair & maintenance needed and report faulty cases promptly.Implement SOPs related to kitchen activities, take corrective action for non–conformance cases and install preventive measures. Recommend production policies, back-of-house process improvements and equipment upgrades.Responsible for pre-opening, set-up and smooth operations of the kitchen for all new and existing outlets. Requirements: Possess-related certification with at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity. Those without professional qualifications but with a proven track record is encouraged to apply.Connected to industry trends and equipped with good understanding of industry standards including food safety, HACCP, HALAL, etc.Strong food knowledge with hands-on back-of-house experience in restaurant operations.Understand relevant training tools and techniques, delivery and assessment methods.Good communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal form with ability to deliver training effectively.Self-starter, a good team player and motivator with dynamic personality to always strive for best results.Traveling to restaurants within Malaysia is required.
