Description
Job Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Update Client Tracker as needed.
- Assign work/clients to staff as required.
- Review staff-prepared invoices and assist in receivables collection.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate staff.
- Conduct staff training and assist in organizing seminars/workshops.
- Assist in office administrative tasks.
- Ensure consistent adherence to standard procedures for TP purposes.
TP Assignments
- Draft/review proposals and complete client acceptance forms.
- Prepare/review kick-off meeting slides and interview questionnaires.
- Participate in interviews and document verbal information.
- Review comparable searches and financial statements.
- Draft/review TP Documentation Reports and Comparable Study Reports.
- Manage and meet internal and client-set deadlines.
- Address issues with Executive Directors and clear review points.
TP Advisory Work
- Draft/review proposals and complete client acceptance forms.
- Conduct or review research.
- Draft/review TP advice.
- Liaise with the IRB on TP audit/investigation issues.
- Manage and meet internal and client-set deadlines.
- Address issues with the engagement team and clear review points.
Other Tax Work
- Assist with corporate tax compliance and advisory work as needed.
Training
- Attend and prepare for all training sessions.
- Conduct training sessions for staff as applicable.
- Revise training materials and enhance knowledge.
Guidance and Supervision of Staff
- Provide job set-up instructions and guidance to staff.
- Discuss technical points and share knowledge.
- Monitor staff progress and efficiency regularly.
Personal Development and Marketing Efforts
- Conduct meetings with clients and authorities independently when necessary.
- Identify new work opportunities from existing clients.
- Identify target clients and arrange meetings.
- Contribute articles for publication in journals.
- Speak at external seminars/workshops to raise personal profile.
- Assist in workshops/training for clients.
- Stay updated on technical and business developments.
Profile
Qualifications/Education & Work Experience
A minimum degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIA). At least 5 years of pertinent work experience. Proficient understanding and knowledge of: Transfer pricing provisions in the Income Tax Act 1967. Malaysian Transfer Pricing Guidelines. Transfer pricing rules. OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines. Global transfer pricing developments. Clarifications provided by the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on transfer pricing related issues. Job Offer
