Develops and implements strategies to ensure multinational companies comply with tax regulations and optimize their intercompany pricing arrangements.

A global shared service centre.
Description
Administrative Matters:
- Complete and update the Client Tracker as needed.
- Set up Transfer Pricing (TP) files when required.
- Prepare invoices as needed.
- Ensure proper filing of documents upon completing TP assignments.
- Keep directors and managers fully informed about client matters, including documenting and circulating client communications to the engagement team.
- Arrange for the dispatch of documents.
- Familiarize yourself with standard TP assignment procedures, such as document filing and server saving.
TP Compliance and Advisory Assignments:
- Draft proposals and complete client acceptance forms.
- Prepare kick-off meeting slides and interview questionnaires for Functions, Assets & Risk (FAR) Analysis.
- Participate in interviews, documenting verbal information from interviewees, which may occur in Malaysia or occasionally neighboring countries.
- Conduct comparable searches and assist with the purchase of financial statements for TP assignments.
- Draft and review Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD) and benchmarking reports, and perform necessary research.
- Draft TP advice and conduct relevant research.
- Manage deadlines set internally and by clients, and discuss any issues with the engagement team.
- Address and clear review points raised by Managing Consultants/Directors and document important information.
- Ensure that deliverables sent to clients for review are complete and organized.
Training:
- Attend all training sessions and come prepared.
- Review training materials thoroughly and enhance your knowledge on the subject.
Profile
Qualifications/Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA, or an equivalent credential.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of:
- TP provisions in the Income Tax Act 1967
- Income Tax (Transfer Pricing) Rules 2023
- Malaysian TP Guidelines
- OECD TP Guidelines
- Global TP developments
- Clarifications by the IRB and TP-related issues
