Responsibilities:Leading/supervising a team - task includes recruitments, appraisal & training.
Liaising with Company's major customers on their shipment requirements and reports.
Prepare and manage the logistics budget, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses.
Analyze logistics costs and implement strategies to improve cost-effectiveness.
Periodic analyzing of procedures etc.
to ensure continuous improvement on customer service provided.
Ensure accurate collection of customer shipment information and execution.
Ensuring meeting of truck utilization, fuel monitoring, drivers hiring and smooth running of the department.
Ensure truck position and truck cleanliness being monitoring and update.
Assist with collection of outstanding via calling or visiting customer when necessary.
Meeting and follow up with new customers for new shipments when necessary.
Meeting with management team members to discuss possible improvements of service level to Customers.
Preparation of monthly reports and analysis for HOD meetings.
Verification for invoice, Proof Of Delivery, driver trip wages and DDMR before submission.
Verification of incident reports/customer complaint/discrepancy report.
Liaising with workshop regarding truck breakdown, as required.
Liaise with insurance agent and workshop for accident cases.
Ad hoc task as given by management from time to time.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
More than 5 years in logistics, supply chain, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., SOVY).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
