Working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, the successful candidate would deliver high quality administrative, data entry and operational support to the Nexus US, UK, EU & Asia Underwriting team.
Responsibilities:Logging/clearing underwriting risks onto our underwriting system(s) from the submissions inboxes.
Saving application documentation to the electronic filing system and/or document repository.
Processing submission acceptance and declinature letters in our underwriting system(s) and emailing letters to brokers.
Liaising with underwriters in the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Asia to ensure the underwriting system, electronic filing system, procedures and guidelines are up to date and the information is accurate and organized.
Sending renewal reminders and ensuring Underwriters are kept up to date with the status of renewals.
Other admin tasks such as answering phone calls, taking messages, arranging, and assisting with broker appointments and travel booking.
Regular reporting, including daily performance data and dashboards.
Qualifications and Skills:Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work under pressure as part of a small team.
Attention to detail and deadlines.
Ability to maintain and develop good working relationships at all levels.
Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision.
IT literacy including advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications (experience with a programming language (e.g.
R or Python) preferred).
