About the roleFor the Test & Product Engineering Group, within BG ICS based in Seremban, Malaysia , we are looking for a Validation Engineer.
In this exciting role, you will play a major part in the exploration and development of new, exciting and challenging Semiconductor products.What you will needResponsible for the quality and execution of IC product tests according to validation planResponsible for development of new lab test methods and hardwareResponsible for populating report of performed tests, results & analysis.Analysis of competitor devices on benchEngage in the validation activities relating to customer complaints and its requestsAccountable to execute tasks according to project planning and to find solutions to keep the planning on trackParticipate in Risk assessment (FMEA) and problem-solving teams (8D).Investigate discrepancies during validation executions and remedy through corrective actions and improvementInitiates and drives improvements on test- and measurement quality and efficiency,Must be able to drive validation/characterization efficiency.Must be capable to compile and write training material and conducts training sessions on validation activities.You will be reporting to the Validation, Test and Product Engineering ManagerWhat you will needMaster or Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering.1 - 3 years of relevant work experience with testing of Semiconductor devices.Hands on knowledge of Validation and application measurements on the benchMust be very familiar with Electrical Lab equipment (Pattern Generator, Digital Scopes, Network & Parametric analyzer, etc.
)Experience with power management IC's will be of added advantage.Programming knowledge (eg VBA, C++) and preferably experience with developing LabView solutions.Knowledge about PCB/circuit design, including sockets definitely an added advantage.Knowledge of statistics.Have a customer oriented and quality mindset.Analytical Skills and ability to apply pragmatic approaches.Good communication skills in English.Leadership skills and experience.Must be a team player and be able to see the bigger picture for the betterment of the team.Must be target driven and have high self-initiative drive.Talent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
