A fantastic opportunity forVerification and Validation Services Engineerto work in Cochlear Malaysia. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the output of complex high-quality projects, delivered on time to our customers by planning, executing and reporting System V&V testing as needed within the R&D product portfolio. The role has an eye for exceptional user-facing product quality, reliability, and user-centric design principles.
The role contributes to the continuous improvement of V&V capabilities by developing, improving and deploying excellent system V&V skills, processes, tools, and equipment. They test to challenge the design and are a gatekeeper upholding quality.
Key Responsibilities
Performing design Verification & Validation (V&V) of Cochlear's products. This will include updating tests; supporting the development of test cases; performing V&V dry runs; generating and maintaining V&V inputs and outputs (including documents and results); and debugging test failures across large arrays of hardware and software combinations to ensure safe, functional and compliant products.
Delivering assigned V&V components of releases by managing small to medium projects, features or subtasks from start to finish.
Managing and maintaining inventory used by the V&V Services Team for formal V&V.
Providing training, support and development help to other team members.
Contributing to procedure and process improvements within the Verification & Validation team to ensure efficient, clear and consistent procedures and processes.
Remaining abreast of the latest developments in engineering and regulatory requirements applicable to V&V and medical devices.
Key Requirements
University degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with Software elements.
Minimum 2 years of experiencein system, electrical or electronics design, automation, development or testing in R&D/D&D domains preferred.
Understanding or knowledge of verification and validation principles, methods and tools.
Experience in using electrical or electronic test equipment.
Experience in managing and delivering work packages.
Experience in problem solving.
Experience in continuous improvement activities preferred.
Good oral and written English communication skills.
