Qualifications & Experience
Studies in animal science is an added advantage.
Preferably some experience working in a veterinary setup environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Patient Care: Monitor the health and well-being of animals before, during, and after surgery or treatment, including administering medications.
Assisting Vets: Support veterinary doctors during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures by preparing the necessary equipment and instruments.
Animal Restraint: Safely and effectively restrain animals for examinations and procedures to minimize stress and ensure safety.
Emergency Response: Assist in emergency situations, providing first aid and emergency care as needed until a veterinarian can take over.
Anesthesia Monitoring: Observe and monitor patients during anesthesia for surgery, ensuring vital signs are stable and reporting any changes.
