About the RoleYou will join the Compliance team, responsible for managing regulatory compliance within the group.
Your primary tasks will include providing guidance on operational compliance with regulations, assisting with regulatory audits and annual statutory audits.
Your ResponsibilitiesGuide Compliance Excellence : Provide comprehensive compliance guidance and ensure a deep understanding of applicable legislation for the group and its subsidiaries.
Navigate Regulatory Changes : Stay vigilant and monitor new and proposed changes in standards, legislation, and regulatory notifications.
Mitigate Compliance Risks : Identify and assess potential compliance risks, strategize on effective mitigation measures, and share detailed risk reports.
Create a Collaborative Compliance Framework : Foster collaboration by liaising with the company's group head of compliance and our compliance teams worldwide.
Engage with Regulatory Authorities : Act as a point of contact and build relationships with regulatory authorities and industry standards organizations as necessary.
Perform Strategic Monitoring and Planning : Develop and implement strategies for monitoring compliance and conducting audits, reviews, and action plans.
RequirementsA university degree in finance, law, risk management, banking, financial services, payments, or a related field.
Proficient years of experience in compliance roles.
A thorough comprehension of corporate governance, anti-money laundering practices, investment and payment services regulations, crypto asset regulatory frameworks, and pertinent legislation.
A proven track record of engaging with regulatory bodies.
A strong grasp of legal mandates and controls.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
