As Vice President of Data, you will drive CARSOME's data-driven transformation, leading a talented team to unlock data power and deliver innovative solutions fueling growth and success.
Your Day-to-Day Involves:
Developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives. Providing regular updates to executive leadership on data initiatives and performance metrics.
Advocating for data-driven innovation across all business units.
Building relationships with external data partners, vendors, and consultants to stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends.
Partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities leveraging data for business outcomes, including customer insights, process optimisation and product innovation.
Fostering a data-informed culture, promoting data literacy and encouraging data-driven decision-making.
Defining and tracking key performance indicators to measure data initiative effectiveness and ROI.
Monitoring and optimising data platform, process, and model performance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Building, developing, and inspiring a high-performing data and analytics team, attracting and retaining top talent.
Fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment encouraging experimentation and learning.
Providing mentorship and guidance to team members, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, IT, Marketing, and Operations.
Data Infrastructure & GovernanceOverseeing scalable data infrastructure development and maintenance to support real-time analytics and reporting.
Ensuring data governance policies are in place, promoting accuracy, consistency, and security.
Implementing best practices for data management, quality assurance, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Data Products & InsightsDriving data product development and deployment to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Translating complex data insights into actionable business recommendations for leadership.
Working closely with technology teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems with business operations.
Your Background Should Include:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
10+ years of experience in data leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering impactful, data-driven solutions.
Strong technical skills and experience in data engineering, science, machine learning, and cloud data solutions (e.g., AWS and/or Google Cloud).
Experience scaling data operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Leadership experience managing large, cross-functional teams with an ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
Estimated Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year.#J-18808-Ljbffr
