Job Summary:The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our market presence, increase revenue, and build strong customer relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the semiconductor consumables and tooling space with a proven track record in business development and sales.
Key Responsibilities:Development and Execution of Growth Strategies:Lead the development and execution of growth strategies to expand coverage and develop new customer accounts in the semiconductor industry.
Customer Relationship Management:Manage and harmonize pressure arising from a yield and uptime-focused customer base. Develop and nurture key customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales Planning and Execution:Plan and execute sales efforts to meet or exceed corporate sales and revenue goals. Identify, quantify, and develop new opportunities through prospecting and networking.
Strategic Partnerships:Identify and forge strategic alliances, partnerships, and joint ventures to boost the company's growth trajectory.
Cross-functional Leadership:Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, and engineering to ensure alignment with the company's strategic imperatives.
Market Analysis:Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Share insights on new product or service opportunities based on continuous customer interactions and relationships.
Team Development:Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times, serve as a role model for senior company leaders, and mentor future leaders.
Qualifications:At least 15 years of experience in senior management roles, preferably with global responsibilities in the semiconductor industry.
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies.
Strong technical background with prior engineering experience in the semiconductor backend environment.
Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to convert customer needs into successful business deals.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex situations.
Experience in key account management and forming strategic partnerships.
Strong global business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
Engaging and persuasive communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a similar field (Master's preferred).
Willingness to travel globally.
