Short Summary:
As a Video Content Creator, the primary function of this position is to work as part of the Marketing department, producing, shooting, and editing premium video content aimed at promoting services, campaigns, and programs, and enhancing the company's and clients' image locally, nationally, and internationally.
Moreover, creators are expected to work simultaneously with the marketing team to maintain consistency between marketing campaigns and content published.
Candidates will also be required to brainstorm and suggest newer ways and platforms to increase their current customer segment and increase the target market.
Job Responsibilities:
As a content creator, you will have set working hours.
Work with the marketing department to get an understanding of the short term and long-term marketing targets and then develop content strategies accordingly.
Creating content which will catch maximum customer interest.
Collaborating with the content and marketing team to decide the brand taglines, logo, and other promotional material.
Brainstorming and suggesting new ways to improve the traffic by tapping into new platforms and channels.
Ensure that the content is compliant with copyright and data protection laws.
Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand history and plans.
Identify customers' needs in relation to the company and write content to cater to those needs.
Video production to include storyboarding, research and planning, scriptwriting, filming, editing, colour grading, and addition of motion graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects.
Leads production on a variety of video styles, distributed via a range of platforms, aimed at both internal and external audiences.
Takes still photographs in addition to video when required.
Interviews and directs people, coaching them to deliver often dry topics in a clear and interesting manner.
Requirements:
Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of film, photography, and audio production equipment, including DSLR cameras, audio, and lighting setups.
Strong storytelling abilities, able to create interesting and compelling content to communicate effectively to both an internal and external audience.
Creative and detail-oriented.
Experience in work that requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in everyday work.
Experience with post-production software and graphic design programs.
Evidence of a portfolio of work demonstrating strong storytelling techniques across a variety of content styles, alongside technically high-quality video production.
Experience working in a fast-paced, creative environment handling multiple projects at once.
Experience with flying and filming from drones.
Bachelor's degree in Film, Broadcast Journalism, or relevant field.
3 to 5 years of experience in Video Production or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
