We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor to join our team, working closely with the Social Media Content Editor to create high-quality video content that strengthens the CEO's online presence.
This role requires expertise in editing both long-form and short-form videos for various platforms, with a focus on producing engaging content for Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.

ResponsibilitiesShort-Form Content Editing:Prioritize editing short-form content for Instagram Reels, ensuring it's visually compelling, trend-forward, and platform-specific.
Edit TikTok videos and YouTube Shorts, incorporating platform trends, sound effects, and transitions to maximize engagement.
Long-Form Content EditingEdit polished and professional YouTube videos, ensuring strong pacing, engaging visuals, and smooth transitions.
Adapt long-form content into shorter clips optimized for social media, maintaining storytelling integrity.
Collaborative ProductionWork closely with the Social Media Content Editor to understand creative concepts and translate them into engaging video edits.
Incorporate feedback to refine videos and ensure alignment with the CEO's brand voice and objectives.
Post-Production ExcellenceExecute all stages of editing, including sound design, color correction, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
Maintain a consistent aesthetic and tone across all video content.
Ensure quick turnaround times without compromising quality.
Platform ExpertiseStay up-to-date with platform-specific editing styles, trends, and best practices for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Use platform analytics and feedback to optimize content for better engagement and growth.
File Management & WorkflowOrganize and manage video files to ensure a streamlined editing process.
Create and maintain templates and assets for efficient content production.
RequirementsDiploma or degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
1-2 years of professional video editing experience (internship experience welcomed).
Advanced proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
Experience with motion graphics tools like After Effects for creating basic animations and enhancing visual storytelling.
Strong knowledge of video editing techniques and trends for Instagram Reels, YouTube (long-form and Shorts), and TikTok.
A portfolio demonstrating expertise in both short-form and long-form video content creation.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Creative and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and design.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and incorporate feedback to produce polished, impactful content.
Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with sound editing and advanced color grading techniques.
Familiarity with social media analytics to assess video performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
Understanding of brand voice and how to reflect it visually in content.
