The Video Editor is responsible for creating compelling and visually appealing videos by assembling and editing raw video footage, adding special effects, sound, music, and graphics. They play a vital role in transforming diverse visual material into a seamless and captivating final product.**Key Responsibilities**:**Video Editing**:Assemble and edit video footage into a cohesive and engaging story, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and continuity.Edit raw footage to create a visually pleasing final product that aligns with the project's objectives and style guidelines.**Special Effects and Graphics**:Incorporate special effects, animations, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance the video's impact and convey the intended message.Create and edit motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and other graphical elements for inclusion in videos.**Sound Editing**:Enhance the audio quality of the video by adjusting, syncing, and adding sound effects, music, voiceovers, and dialogue to match the visual content.**Collaboration and Communication**:Collaborate with the creative team, including directors, producers, and other team members, to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with the vision.Communicate effectively to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to meet project expectations.**Quality Control**:Review the final edited videos to ensure they meet the project's requirements, quality standards, and technical specifications.Address any issues or discrepancies and make necessary adjustments to produce a polished and flawless video.**File Management**:Organize and manage video assets, project files, and related materials to ensure efficient workflow and easy accessibility for future use.**Stay Updated with Trends**:Keep abreast of industry trends, new editing techniques, software, and equipment to continuously improve skills and stay innovative.**Requirements**:- Proven experience as a video editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of edited videos.- Proficiency in video editing software- Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques.- Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and compression standards.- Knowledge of sound editing and mixing.- Creativity and artistic vision, with attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Flexibility and adaptability to meet project deadlines and evolving requirements.- Bachelor's degree in film production, video editing, or a related field (preferred)Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Commission pay
