The Videographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content, editing footage to create engaging videos, and managing the TikTok platform to enhance brand presence.
This role demands creativity, technical expertise in video production, and a willingness to appear in front of the camera as part of content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
Operate cameras and other recording equipment to capture high-quality footage for projects including but not limited to interviews, promotional videos, live events, documentaries, and TikTok content.
Set up lighting, sound equipment, and other on-site production needs to ensure the best quality video and audio recording.
Collaborate with creative teams to plan and execute filming sequences that align with the project's vision and requirements.
Video Editing:
Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
Utilize editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to trim footage, sequence the final cut, and integrate special effects or other visual/audio elements.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final video to maximize impact and engagement.
TikTok Platform Management:
Develop and execute a content strategy for the TikTok platform, tailored to engage and grow the audience.
Regularly upload videos, engage with followers through comments and challenges, and monitor the performance of published content.
Be willing and prepared to appear on camera as a representative of the brand, showcasing personality and creativity to resonate with the TikTok audience.
Perform color grading to enhance video presentations and ensure consistency in visual tone and quality.
Add music, voiceovers, and sound effects to productions, ensuring clear audio quality and appropriate sound levels.
Render and export videos in various formats for different distribution channels.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with other creative team members, including directors, other videographers, graphic designers, and marketing staff to understand project needs and specifications.
Provide technical support and insight during pre-production and production phases to improve video quality.
Participate in creative sessions to propose innovative ideas for new content.
Maintenance and Upkeep:
Maintain and troubleshoot all video and audio equipment.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies in video production and editing to enhance workflow efficiency and product quality.
Manage and archive video footage and related media files in an organized and accessible manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a videographer and editor with a strong portfolio of work, including social media content creation.
Proficient in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
Skilled in operating camera, sound, and lighting equipment.
Excellent sense of pace and timing in video storytelling, with a dynamic on-camera presence.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or related field preferred.
