Reports to:Visual Merchandising Manager
The Visual Merchandising Executive is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of in-store visual displays and ensuring they align with the brand's image and objectives.
This role involves implementing merchandising strategies, maintaining display standards, and working closely with the store and marketing teams to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:Display Execution:
Implement visual merchandising plans/planogram, including window displays, product arrangements, and promotional setups.
Ensure all visual displays align with brand guidelines and are updated according to seasonal themes, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
Store Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain in-store displays, ensuring functionality and appeal.
Regularly refresh displays to reflect new arrivals, stock changes, or promotions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager to execute creative ideas and strategies.
Coordinate with store staff to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of displays.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all visual merchandising activities adhere to company standards and health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with visual merchandising guidelines.
Training and Support:
Provide guidance and training to store staff on basic visual merchandising principles and standards.
Assist in organizing workshops or training sessions for team members as required.
Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inspire innovative visual merchandising ideas.
Recommend improvements to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Reporting:
Report on the effectiveness of visual merchandising efforts and provide feedback to the Visual Merchandising Manager.
Maintain documentation for layouts, designs, and displays for future reference.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in retail.
Strong artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch is an advantage.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to travel to various store locations as needed.
