This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across all facets of the supply chain.What you will do:Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain management, overseeing capacity planning, production, procurement, customer service, and logistics functions.Develop and implement the country-specific Supply Chain strategy, focusing on digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives.Drive the integrated Sales & Operations Planning process to optimize demand and supply planning and enhance overall cost-to-serve metrics.Cultivate a high-performing Supply Chain team through talent management and succession planning.Monitor and improve key supply chain metrics, including quality, inventory management, customer satisfaction, and cost/profit margins.Foster strategic relationships with key raw material suppliers and drive sustainability initiatives throughout the supply chain.Champion a culture of safety and compliance with BlueScope's code of conduct in all supply chain activities.Key Deliverables:Enhance overall supply chain effectiveness, focusing on inventory management, customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and safety management.Successfully develop and implement supply chain strategies tailored to the Malaysian market.Drive competency improvement within the Supply Chain team to ensure alignment with business objectives.What you will need:Demonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative and reflective approach, combined with the ability to make decisive recommendations.Strong organizational, planning, and execution abilities.Proven track record of fostering a culture based on openness and knowledge sharing.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Broadminded with strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.Expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including production planning, procurement, customer service, and logistics.Willingness and ability to invest time and effort into team leadership and development.Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.If you are ready to make a significant impact on our organization's success, we invite you to submit your detailed resume and cover letter as part of your application.
