Position Summary
Damascus Restaurantis looking for askilled Waiter/Waitressto join our team! Your goal in this position is to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and provide an outstanding customer service experience.
To succeed in this position, here's what you need:
A good team player with a pleasant and great personality.
Great discipline and willing to follow instructions.
Have a high level of patience.
Hardworking.
Polite to customers and co-workers.
Well in Public Relations (PR).
Good command of English is compulsory.
Here are the roles and responsibilities:
To greet and direct customers to their tables.
To complete all cleaning and preparation of cutlery at tables.
To present menu and provide detailed information when asked.
To inform customers about the day's specials/promotions and offer menu recommendations and upsell accordingly.
To take accurate food and drinks orders.
To communicate with our kitchen team to make sure orders are accurate and served promptly.
To up-sell to customers when appropriate.
To serve food and drink orders.
To be able to multi-task various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bills.
