Key Responsibilities: Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome guests, present menus, and guide them to their tables with a friendly and professional demeanor.Taking Orders: Listen to customers' preferences, provide menu recommendations, and take accurate food and drink orders. Answer any questions about the menu.Serving Food and Beverages: Ensure orders are delivered promptly and accurately to the correct tables, and monitor guests to provide refills and additional items as needed.Table Setting and Clearing: Set tables with appropriate silverware and glassware and clear tables promptly to prepare for the next guests.Up-selling and Specials: Promote specials and additional menu items to increase sales and enhance the dining experience.Customer Service: Address any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.Billing and Payment: Present bills and handle payment transactions accurately, including processing credit cards and making change.Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep workstations, dining areas, and serving stations clean and organized. Assist with overall restaurant cleanliness as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and remain calm during busy periods.Basic math skills for processing bills and handling payments.Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
