About the roleWe are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistance to join our dynamic team at EAST WEST SEED (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a Warehouse Assistance, you will play a crucial role in supporting our warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to our customers.
What you'll be doing
Receiving: acquiring products in specified quantities at a warehouse facility - DO vs Physical quantities.
Putting away: moving received products to optimal locations within a warehouse facility.
Storing: keeping products in their designated locations until shipping.
Picking: collecting stored products to fulfill customers' orders.
Packing: consolidating and preparing products in a customer's order.
Shipping: arrange transport to the customer's order specified destination.
Organize the warehouse to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Using supply chain software to optimize operations.
Inventory tracking in the warehouse (physical vs ABS and product expiry date). Stock count will be conducted every end of month and reported to be shared with the Finance Department.
Monitor inventory aging, resend for testing for any product near to expired date.
Supporting the team in other warehouse-related tasks as required.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual handling tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and technology.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
