Responsibilities:
Maintain daily inventory audits, detecting and troubleshooting discrepancies between physical and book records. Compile and submit month/year-end stock reports to management.
Assess and track overall inventory levels, movement, usage, and storage to meet demand.
Plan and forecast demand and re-ordering functions based on SAP system data and communicate with procurement as needed.
Liaise with respective departments to ensure a smooth supply chain process of goods from arrival to end-user.
Act as a universal team player to back up both the operational functions of the logistics and store departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct daily stock movement and accuracy checks, track stock differences, and highlight variances.
Check incoming and outgoing stocks daily to ensure physical stocks are correct.
Check delivery orders for outgoing stocks to customers and Pekat E&LP / Pekat Solar sites.
Prepare monthly stock accuracy reports for Pekat Engineering stocks to the accounts department and management.
Attend to stock auditors during annual stock audits.
Oversee general store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Back up store and logistics management in the absence of the person-in-charge.
Prepare monthly purchase requisition forms for stock reordering to replenish depleting stocks.
Ensure sample boards for sales staff are completed as required.
Oversee Sungrow inverter stock balances and movements, updating them in the SAP system and shared folders.
Oversee stock unloading from incoming containers and arrange staff activities related to it.
Update mistakes made by store staff and provide updated records to superiors.
Check and investigate any issues affecting stock quantities or serial numbers of goods in the system.
Print pick lists for customer orders to prepare stocks for deliveries and collections.
Check and liaise with the accounts department regarding credit notes that are not processed correctly.
Perform Goods Receipt of Sungrow stocks in the SAP system.
Attend meetings to provide feedback and outputs to colleagues and superiors.
Ensure items for Pekat Solar projects are prepared before collection or delivery as requested.
Carry out other ad-hoc tasks such as purchasing fuel for forklifts and other store-related issues.
Back up function to issue purchase requisitions to the purchasing department for packing material consumables.
