The Warehouse Executive is responsible for overseeing the warehouse operation to ensure efficient receipt, storage, dispatch of goods, smooth workflows, and adherence to company standards.
The role includes ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining safety standards, and improving overall warehouse processes.
Receiving of GoodsReceive, inspect, and record incoming stock in system.
Check for damaged, missing, or incorrect items and report discrepancies to quality & purchasing team immediately.
Ensure proper handling of fragile, hazardous, or perishable items.
Coordinate with production teams to understand production requirements and ensure timely issuance of items according to specifications.
Dispatch and DeliveryReview and process outgoing orders based on pick lists, sales orders, or delivery schedules.
Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of goods for shipment.
Coordinate closely with sales teams on the delivery schedule to meet delivery timelines.
Verify shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
Supervise and train the finished goods warehouse team, ensuring all functions and transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
Inventory ManagementPlan and optimize storage space utilization.
Ensure that goods are stored in the correct locations for easy retrieval.
Maintain accuracy in stock levels and location systems, reporting any discrepancies or issues with excess, redundant, or slow-moving materials for better inventory and space management.
Ensure accurate and timely updates to the inventory management system.
Conduct monthly physical stock count and ensure reliable and accurate inventory records in the system.
Safety and ComplianceMaintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Arrange the schedule of repair and maintenance of the cold-rooms, vehicles, and forklift.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Monitor and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.
