Job ResponsibilitiesInventory Management:
- Conduct and document monthly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and identify any discrepancies during cycle counts, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain team to monitor stock levels and replenishment needs.
Receiving Goods:
- Oversee the receiving process for goods from suppliers, ensuring they are inspected for quality, verified against purchase orders, and accurately logged into the system.
- Manage documentation and record-keeping associated with incoming shipments.
- Coordinate the unloading and storage of received goods in designated warehouse areas.
Delivery Coordination:
- Arrange for the timely delivery of goods from the warehouse to the farm and packing house as needed.
- Work with logistics or transportation teams to plan and schedule deliveries, ensuring that schedules align with farm needs and operational goals.
Supplier Coordination:
- Communicate with suppliers to schedule pickups or deliveries and ensure the timely receipt of goods.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding any issues with deliveries, such as delays or discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation of these interactions.
Raw Material Safekeeping:
- Ensure the proper storage and safe-keeping of raw materials, maintaining an organized and hygienic warehouse environment.
- Monitor storage conditions and enforce safety practices to prevent damage or contamination of materials.
