Role Purpose: To lead warehouse administrative and operation teams that manage the application of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure all Finished Goods (FG) movements are well planned and recorded according to the company systems and physical requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall Distribution Centre (DC) day-to-day operations from planning, receiving, storing, delivering & stock controlling.
To ensure that all DC equipment / facility is properly maintained and reviewed from time to time to provide full support to the DC operations.
To ensure basic warehouse rules are strictly followed such as First Expire Frist Out (FEFO), receiving/delivering SOP, stock counting and all safety practices.
Monitor and control delivery performance to ensure customer service level are met.
Monitor and ensure 3rd party transporters are adhering strictly to the company's SOP & review their performance from time to time.
Monitor & review the stock holding level to ensure the turnaround time is adequate for stock efficiency.
Ensure that security, safety, and cleanliness of the warehouse is in compliance with law requirements and strictly adheres to the company's SOP and guidelines.
To lead a team of staff by providing clear direction and instruction, monitoring performance and attendance of the staff, providing training and reviewing manpower requirements from time to time.
Analyze & review on monthly stock reports such as stock turnover, stock write off, stock returned, stock adjustment, variance report or prepare any ad-hoc reports as and when required by Management.
Communicate closely with the Sales team on various requirement/changes and execute in shortest & effective way possible.
Consistently review and update SOP, developing new SOP where required.
Monitor & review on stock count and pallet count variances (if any) & escalate to management in tightening on the internal control from time to time.
To monitor & review on the existing manpower on the current work process to ensure mitigate on overtime costs.
To perform other tasks, as assigned by Management Requirements Qualification: At least Degree in Business / Management / Logistics / Transportation or equivalent Skills: Well versed in managing Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP is essential.
Strong leadership ability and management aptitude.
Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills.
Able to perform multi tasks.
Results oriented.
Good in logical and positive thinking and willing to learn new things.
Strong sense of ownership and urgency is important.
Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word & Outlook.
Experience: At least 10 years of managerial experience in mid/large warehouse or distribution centre dealing with FMCG.
