Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, including the proper storage and labeling of food products, supplies, and equipment. Monitor the warehouse layout to optimize storage space and facilitate easy access to high-turnover products. Ensure adherence to safety standards, including fire safety, food safety, and OSHA regulations. Ensure accurate inventory tracking and regular updates of stock levels. Work with the Procurement Department to coordinate the timely receipt of goods, ensuring accurate delivery and proper storage upon arrival. Supervise the receiving process, including checking and verifying incoming goods for accuracy (quantities, quality, etc.) and coordinating proper storage in the warehouse. Ensure that food products and other perishable goods are stored according to food safety standards Develop and enforce procedures for receiving, inspecting, and storing products to maintain quality and reduce waste. Coordinate the efficient distribution of inventory to restaurant locations, ensuring that deliveries are timely and aligned with restaurant schedules. Manage warehouse logistics, including the preparation of orders and delivery routes, to ensure products reach the restaurant locations promptly and in good condition. Optimize delivery schedules to prevent downtime in restaurant operations due to stockouts or delays. Manage, train, and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties efficiently and safely. Ensure that all warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, shelving, etc.) is maintained in good working order and perform regular equipment checks. Coordinate repairs or maintenance when necessary to avoid operational downtime. Experience in inventory control, order fulfillment, and managing warehouse logistics. Previous experience in team management or supervision is highly preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on detail and efficiency. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
