Warehouse DutiesOversee and support the following warehouse duties:Manage incoming stock in the system by verifying the count, printing labels, and transferring inventory to its location.
Prepare daily pick list reports, manage stock movement in the ERP, and reorder as needed.
Ensure warehouse personnel submits the right documents for daily operation transactions.
Input inventory data in the ERP and maintain stock movement to ensure inventory accuracy.
Provide real-time inventory status for both bonded and non-bonded goods.
Act as the contact person for physical stock enquiries and identification.
Support stock take and other logistics projects.
Lead cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
Ensure accuracy of delivery in accordance with stipulated schedules.
Manage warehouse productivity costs and workplace safety.Ensure clear segregation and management of bonded and non-bonded inventories.
Ensure compliance with the Company's operations policies and procedures.
Recommend measures to improve quality of service and increase efficiency of department and equipment performance.
Transportation & Logistics DutiesSupport the supply chain success of the Company.
Supervise and coordinate own and 3PL land trucking schedule.
Manage the company's fleet and record expenses of company vehicles' fuel, toll, and parking charges.
Coordinate with courier service for parcel and document shipment and clearance.
Arrange delivery and collection of goods for the Company, operating at Penang facilities to local and overseas customers as well as from suppliers.
Custom DutiesOversee all custom duties such as:Arrange customs clearance with shipping agents and logistics providers.
Contact the Customs department to confirm tariff codes and import duty rates, updates on regulation, and consultation for clearance processes.
Support and prepare documentation for post review by the Customs Department.
Submit all applications for Custom privileges, follow up, and obtain Custom approval.
Manage Custom privileges, check, and extend the period of privilege.
Coordinate with Customs for Custom-related activities and consultation concerning Custom processes.
Control Custom material for export parts and local parts.
Manage import and export taxation issues and claims.Administration and Team Management DutiesLiaise with Government authorities and consultants on licenses and permits.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on sustaining facility maintenance, security, and assets.
Supervise warehouse personnel and work schedule.
Confirm service rendered by external parties are in order including payment processing.
Create an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally.
Build your team's capabilities.
Partner with other supervisors to coordinate activities of department and support customers.
Monitor warehouse performance and maintain proper records relating to warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with and advise on warehouse safety policies and procedures.
Ensure world-class customer service is achieved.
Key QualificationsDiploma in Supply Chain / Logistics or related discipline.
Holding Customs Agent Licence and having KEK Certificate (Kursus Ejen Kastam), Forklift or scissor lift certificates are an advantage.
Experience in working with cross-functional partners.
Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
Good organizational skills.
Responsible, responsive, and self-disciplined.
Ability to work in a team and independently lead a team.
