Wastewater Treatment Operator (Wwt)

JobRequirement Minimumrequirement SPM level with 2 years of work experience in wastewatertreatment operation and maintenance works.Ability to work in a team and follow superiorinstruction.Able to communicate effectivelywith superior and subordinates. Gooddiscipline and work attitude. Ability to workin 12-hour shift.Abide to all company rulesand regulations.Able to driveforklift. JobResponsibility Toarrange and supervise daily works for operators and assistants.To monitor plant unit process/operation,identify any abnormalities and informsuperior.To check and record daily chemicalconsumption and inform superior on dosage changes.To check and verify dosing rate of chemicalsand follow procedure for chemical preparation.To check and record daily scheduled wasteinventory. To perform transfer of chemicalsand scheduled wastes.To perform repair workson mechanical equipment including centrifugal sump pumps, dosingpumps, AODD pumps, filter press etc. To liaisewith Maintenance/PEM team on mechanical and electrical issues.To collect wastewater samples and send tolaboratory for testing. To ensure wastewatertreatment areas are clean and follow safety, health andenvironmental rules and regulations.Otherassigned duties as required.
