Hartalega Holdings Berhad is seeking a motivated and dedicated Web Chat Officer to join our dynamic team in George Town, Penang. As a Web Chat Officer, you will play a key role in fostering positive customer relationships and providing exceptional service through our web chat platform. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and respond to customer inquiries via web chat in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
- Assist customers with product information, order tracking, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to escalate complex queries or issues that require additional expertise.
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to log interactions, monitor customer requests, and maintain accurate records of conversations.
- Continuously seek to improve chat efficiency through proactive problem-solving and identifying trends in customer inquiries.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to the development of team resources aimed at enhancing service quality.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to management to help refine service offerings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Uphold Hartalega's customer service standards and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, with at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A driven and hardworking mentality, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative and working independently when required.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and web chat software is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
