About the role
BONA SPEC SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Miri, Sarawak on a contract basis. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in the production and maintenance of high-quality metal fabrications, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing Perform a variety of welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to fabricate and assemble metal componentsInterpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient weldingPrepare and position materials for welding, cutting, and grindingOperate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all timesCollaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or defects in the welding processMaintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintainedWhat we're looking for Formal qualification or certification in welding, such as a Diploma or Certificate in WeldingMinimum 2 years of practical experience as a Welder, preferably in the Trades & Services industryProficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsSkilled in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniquesExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracyStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsCommitment to safety and compliance with health and safety regulationsWhat we offer
