Job Responsibilities:
Create quality welds according to instruction and general welding standards.
Inspect welding for quality and accuracy.
Prepare product, part, section of equipment for welding by grinding, drilling, tapping and cutting steel parts.
Maintain all welding workshop equipment in proper working condition, including cleaning them.
Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
Order and restock welding workshop consumables and steel material as required.
Perform simple maintenance, repair and troubleshooting on the welding workshop equipment as required.
Perform first piece inspection on welding materials received.
Ensure all equipment are properly set-up and used in a safe manner that all safety devices are in use.
