Designation Welding Technician (MIG)Department: ProductionReporting Manager: Factory ManagerLocation: Balakong, Kuala Lumpur MalaysiaSalary: Starting RM2,500Role ResponsibilitiesPerform welding works according to approved drawings and quality specificationsResponsible to examine and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specificationIdentify potential welding problem and work out the solution · Able to read and interpret technical drawing and other written instructions and diagrams to perform welding works and requirements to produce work pieceWork with Supervisor to ensure welding works are carried out in a controlled mannerPerform MIG, TIG and other types of weld accordinglyCoordinate with Production for efficient installationsDe-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface textureImprove and sustain housekeepingSupport in training as and when requiredAny other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to timeRole RequirementMinimum 1 year direct working experience as a welder (preferably MIG welding) – equipment and proceduresAble to read and understand work order, technical drawing and welding symbolsKnowledge of health and safety proceduresPhysically fit to perform all duties relating to welding · Team player, able to work with all levelsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Demonstrate ability to work on assigned welding works and its processes/activities, ensuring minimum errors and quality work in accordance to production deadlinesMaintain safe workplace practices, adhering to the Company's Health & Safety procedures at all times#J-18808-Ljbffr
