Workshop Assistant Manager

We seek a motivated and skilled Workshop Assistant Manager with at least 5 years of experience to join our Engineering Division.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Workshop Manager in overseeing daily workshop operations.
Coordinate and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
Supervise and mentor workshop staff, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
Monitor and manage equipment, tools, and inventory to minimize downtime and cost control.
Conduct routine quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with company standards.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and workshop activities.
RequirementsMinimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering.
Cost-conscious, resourceful, good analytical, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Proven experience in a workshop environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position (automotive or heavy machinery preferred).
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of workshop tools, spare parts, equipment, and health & safety standards.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
