Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager Location: Senai, Johor Bahru Company Overview: This company is a leading electronics manufacturer known for producing high-quality products for various industries.
They are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to manage and oversee the quality of materials and components supplied by vendors to ensure that all products meet the companys stringent quality standards.
Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes to ensure incoming materials meet specified standards.
Manage relationships with suppliers, including audits and performance evaluations, to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supplier quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to supplier quality issues.
Work closely with the procurement, engineering, and production teams to align supplier quality initiatives with overall production goals.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management, preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO/TS 16949.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with auditing techniques and supplier evaluation processes.
