6457 - Accountant

Job Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Conduct month-end and year-end close processes Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and records Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met Train and supervise accounting staff as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
