We are looking for a diligent and organized Account Clerk to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure that the company's financial operations run smoothly. This position is suitable for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with numbers.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain updated records.Invoice Management: Process and manage incoming invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.Accounts Receivable/Payable: Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable, including tracking payments and preparing statements.Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial records with company accounts.Filing and Documentation: Maintain and organize financial documents, both physical and digital, ensuring they are easily accessible.Expense Tracking: Record and track employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including answering queries and assisting with audits.Assist with Month-End Closing: Help in the month-end closing process by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring all transactions are recorded. REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.Minimum of [1] years of experience in a clerical or accounting role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Working Hours: Mon to Fri (9.00am - 6.30pm)Can start immediately (beginning of November)
