Job requirement:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Professional Certificate in Accountancy or equivalent with a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the same industry.
Fast learner, proactive working attitude, and good personality.
Good communication, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, law, and regulation.
Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office; SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
Background in audit experience will be an added advantage (but this is not compulsory).
Job responsibilities:
Involve in preparation of the forecasting, budgeting, and managing internal control related to SOX compliance.
Manage accounting function related to monthly closing, report submission, journal posting, operations, etc.
Improve accounting systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Improve functional efficiency and proficient in analysis.
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management from time to time.
