The account manager role is a key role focused on supporting our mission. As the Assistant Finance Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and assist him on the overall strategy, fundraising, and investor relations.
In this role you will:Financial Strategy and Analysis:
Assist in formulating fundraising and go-to-market pricing strategies.
Perform project-level margin analysis and provide recommendations.
Prepare and monitor project-level and company-level budgets.
Conduct timely and accurate financial analysis and expenditure monitoring.
Ensure timely monthly and annual financial and management reporting.
Financial Management and Controls:
Manage cash flow and optimize cash levels.
Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Supervise accounting professionals and verify the accuracy of financial data.
Establish and maintain accounting standards and procedures for consistent and accurate financial reporting.
Implement controls to prevent fraud, errors, and misstatements in financial records.
Leadership and Communication:
Communicate effectively with bankers and relevant parties.
Manage and communicate investors' ad-hoc information requests.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic financial guidance.
Conduct training programs for finance and accounting staff.
Audit and Compliance:
Lead the month-end and year-end closing process, overseeing the preparation of financial statements.
Develop training programs for finance staff to enhance understanding of accounting principles.
Serve as the primary contact for external auditors during financial audits.
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree (ACCA / ICAEW / CPA) in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting and finance-related experience.
Preferably with prior experience at Big-4 accounting firms.
