Account Officer

About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Officer to join the team at Mygro Trading Sdn Bhd in Sibu, Sarawak.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development within our growing organisation.
What you'll be doing
Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
Processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely manner
Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
Providing support to the finance team as needed
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the Accounts Officer/Clerk function
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant accounting qualification or certification (e.g., LCCI, ACCA, or AAT)
