**Job Description**:

SIRIM Berhad is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Account Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in George Town, Penang. **Key Responsibilities**:

1. **Client Communication**:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing support via email, phone, and chat.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and enhance their experience with our services.

2. **Account Management**:
- Assist in managing client accounts by updating account information, processing orders, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Support the team in monitoring account activity and proactively addressing any issues that arise.

3. **Collaboration and Team Support**:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolution of client issues.
- Participate in team meetings, offering insights and suggestions to improve processes and client satisfaction.

4. **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
- Prepare reports on account activities and feedback for management review.

5. **Problem Solving**:
- Identify opportunities for adding value to client accounts and suggest improvements where applicable.
- Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.

6. **Learning and Development**:
- Stay up-to-date with company products and services to provide informed support.
- Participate in training sessions and seek opportunities for professional development.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is a plus.
- **Personality Traits**:
- Resilient: Ability to remain calm and continue performing well under pressure.
- Motivated: Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow within the role.

- **Soft Skills**:
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Planning: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- **Technical Skills**:
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
