Account / Tax Assistant

Our Penang Business Consultancy office has two positions (please select one position):
Account Assistant
Ensure timely and accurate posting of bank, sales, purchases transactions using SQL software
Prepare bank reconciliation, statement for customer, fixed asset register and review AR/AP aging
Support and work with Senior in closing month-end account
Communicate with clients on all accounting matters
Tax Assistant
Prepare tax computation and tax form of companies and individuals using Tax Superior software
Assist Senior in attending LHDN correspondences and liaise with client on tax matters
Assist Senior in managing tax deadlines of all tax forms
Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation, budget, etc
Job Requirements:
Diploma holder or higher or those with experience in accounting/tax work
On the job training will be provided
Experience accounting/tax candidates will be considered for Senior position
Good command of English and able to speak Mandarin in dealing with clients
