Accountant

Job Description:The person will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This includes:
Preparing and maintaining full sets of accounts.
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements.
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts : This includes managing all accounting operations based on accounting principles, preparing budget and financial forecasts, and conducting month-end and year-end close processes.
Financial Reporting : Prepare timely monthly financial statements. This includes profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flows, and variance analysis.
Audit & Compliance : Coordinate with internal and external auditors for the annual audit. Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
Taxation : Manage tax payments and reporting. Ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable : Oversee the management of all ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for coordinating with headquarters on the preparation and submission of transfer pricing reports.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, etc.
Preferably with experience in preparing a full set of accounts in a manufacturing-based company.#J-18808-Ljbffr
