Accounting Associate, Statutory Finance Management_MYASSCResponsibilities:
Responsible for monthly closing and reporting deadlines, and perform monthly accounting closing tasks as per closing schedule such as executing journal entries, performing accounts reviews, etc.
Uphold self-inspection ability to ensure output result is in adherence with Huawei internal standard process operations, local generally accepted accounting practices (if applied), and external compliance requirements.
Understand the subsidiary's business landing, external compliance requirements, and contract signing model, and be able to conduct comprehensive analysis of the subsidiary's financial statements and audit response.
Work as the statutory audit person in charge, responsible for coordinating with different accounting modules on statutory audit outputs, resolving audit queries, and managing audit progress. Providing auditors with accurate and well-organized information facilitates a smooth audit process.
Conduct an in-depth analysis of the audit risk of subsidiaries in medium or multiple small countries. Anticipate potential audit pain points by considering local regulations, tax policies, cultural differences, and more.
Responsible for performing quarterly and annual company income tax computation (including reviewing tax rules, deductible/non-deductible, etc.), and performing the tax accounts reconciliation. Required to conduct intensive communication with the local tax manager.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Commerce or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Deep understanding of relevant accounting standards and principles, including generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), depending on the jurisdiction and the organization's reporting requirements.
Good command of PC knowledge (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledge of local tax and commercial law is an advantage.
Meticulous and ability to perform the job with accuracy.
