Accounting Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES:-Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable functions.-Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.-Support month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.-Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for management review.-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support departmental initiatives.-Participate in audits and internal controls testing to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.-Keep updated on developments in accounting standards and healthcare regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.-Perform other duties as necessary to support the accounting team and overall business objectives.
